Ho’oponopono is a type of Hawaiin magic, for lack of better words. In a nutshell, the person doing the magic willingly takes responsibility for all the injustices that are in front of him or her and asks for forgiveness. I first heard about this from Dr. Hue Len, who ‘cleaned’ out (made well) the patients in a mental institution (and the institution was finally closed) by using Ho’oponopono. I spend time almost everyday ‘cleaning’ and it has helped me get my life and those around me, in alignment. (I highly encourage you to look up Hue Len on YouTube and read the story about him cleaning the mental institution.)
Early one morning, I was in a lucid dreaming space and doing my usual cleaning. It was also during the time of Standing Rock. Cleaning is easy, you repeat (in any order) the following phrases:

I’m sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
I thank you

…when tribes of young, dead Native American warriors came towards me and encircled me. Most, not all, but most of them, wanted to kill me.

So, the only thing that crossed my mind was to do Ho’oponopono and accept all of the wrongdoings of the white man against our Native American brethren. I laid completely prostrate on the ground and just kept saying:
“I’m sorry for ALL the wrongs my people have done to you. Please forgive me. I take complete and full responsibility for their actions. I love you. I thank you for giving me this opportunity to right this wrong.”

Initially, I thought the really angry ones were going to just kill me, and even though in a lucid dream, I knew that Native American magic was strong enough that it could do something like cause a heart attack — especially with hundreds of souls encircling me.

I just kept cleaning and cleaning and accepting responsibility for all white man’s sins.
Finally, after several minutes, the attitudes of the braves started to change. They softened. They forgave. One by one they faded away. We didn’t deserve it, but they forgave and I am hoping it released them, too.
